How This Survey Fits Our Work

Listening to families is key to our work which is rooted in the Connected Families Community Development Model. Our mission includes three simple commitments behind everything WFN does:

• Connect: we help families find each other and find support

• Elevate: we make sure your voice and experience are heard

• Mobilize: we turn what we hear into action and change

This survey is how we Elevate your voice — every response helps shape the support, events, and connections WFN builds next.

Last year, 168 families told us where things stand — and it made a real difference (families reported feeling more hopeful and more connected as a result). Our goal this round is 300 responses, running July 15 – August 15, 2026.

Part of Something Bigger: The Indiana Consortium of Family Networks

WFN isn't working alone — we're one of several local, family-led networks across Indiana that make up the Indiana Consortium of Family Networks (ICFN). Through the Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities, ICFN is piloting something new: investing directly in family-led networks like ours so we can support families and strengthen communities close to home.

That means when you take this survey, your voice isn't just shaping WFN — it's helping ICFN show what's possible when families lead, and helping make the case for this kind of support to continue across Indiana.
